THE PRESENTS TO MAKE

Five parings for five successful ideas.

With panettone…
Panettone and pandoro at Christmas and New Year’s Eve it’s a must, there is no need to argue about. Present yourself at the family Christmas dinner with a fragrant panettone just from the confectioner’s shop in pair with a bottle of Moletto Verduzzo Demi sec. The fragrant sweetness of this wine goes perfectly with the soft fragrance of the cake, even stuffed. For an end lunch truly impeccable.

With mature cheeses…
The Italian gastronomic tradition abounds in mature cheese. The choice can be embarrassing, some of them are Slow food presidia. If you want to please your gourmet friend we suggest preparing a set of traditional mature or herb cheese and pair it with a Moletto Passito Solamini et Amicis, splendid in its elegant packing. Due to its excellence it’s wine for meditation, accompanies the great Italian cheese with rare harmony. The wine for long evenings in front of the fire.

With pastries…
Sometimes even a biscuit is quite enough to improve the day. A bonbon, a “dama’s kiss”, a “petit four” or “frollino” (traditional Italian pastry). Just to have a chat with friends stealing a minute in the crazy preholiday days which requests a lot of sacrifice of women. So “Yess” to a little sweet, and tasting Moletto Torcolo together. It’s a gentle and sweet white wine, good to taste, rich and vigorous at the same time. Just as they are modern ladies.

With Monica's cake
It’s a must of our Anna, find the cake among her recipes. With whipped cream, white chocolate and strawberries. Extremely fresh dessert which can surprise and please the most exigent palates.
Moletto Demi Sec
is a perfect pairing for it. Lively bubbles in the glass, Pinot Bianco grapes playing in a sparkling wine version in which the fruit notes emerges. Always pleasant never makes you annoyed. It’s perfect to end an elegant dinner.

With chestnuts…
We share long winter evenings with the dearest people, peeling those fried chestnuts which are full of that charming atmosphere of Magic Winter. Please, be careful not to make a mistake of paring it with red wine because its tannins do not get on well with the tannic note of chestnuts. It should be matched mild but full of character white wine. And here again the Moletto’s Torcolo Verduzzo becomes a perfect proposal. If it appears to the table a tray of “marron glacé”, we dare to pair with sparkling Moletto Announo.
