Chardonnay

White wine of great elegance. It has a subtle bouquet but well-pronounced in its ripe fruity and pleasant floral tones which also reveal in its full, rich, lasting taste. Ideally served with light Italian hors d'oeuvres, shellfish, salt water and freshwater fish with or without sauces.

Growing Region: Belfiore di Pramaggiore - Venice Province - Veneto Region
Altitude: 7 m A.M.S.L.
Soil: with a high presence of "caranto" a particularly hard and compact composition of clay and limestone.
Exposure: east/west
Trellis System: sylvoz
Plant Density: 2.500 plants per hectare
Age of vines: 29/15 years



Vinification

It is cold, in stainless steel vats, with fermentation at controlled temperature of 18°C / 64°F. The wine is then racked  into other stainless steel vats to be refined. This is extended until the time of bottling.



Tasting notes

Colour: pale yellow, lively and brilliant.
Bouquet: Your nose will be the first to pick up the hint of ripe fruit: yellow apple.
Taste: Enveloping, lingering to the point of abundance, in a solid, savory and slightly tannic body.
