Colmello Rosso

From selected Merlot and Franconia grapes, this red wine of classical vigorous elegance, with balanced bouquet and structure. It is complex to the nose. Full, warm and velvety on the palate. Because of its soft mellow flavour it can be served with any kind of meat dish.

Age of vines: 43/9 years, 48/11 years



Vinification

After fermenting on marcs at controlled temperature, this wine has rested in carats, of no great capacity, Allier oak for eight years.



Tasting notes

Colour:  intense ruby red.
Bouquet: the smell intoxicates already. Is perceived a perfect balance between fruitiness and aging in wood. It is a delight to discover the kaleidoscope of flavors: a heady red fruit, a delicious vanilla. And also chocolate, cocoa, leather, soft leather. All perceptions, not too intrusive and well combined.
Taste: Returns the net red berries preserved in alcohol. The ethereal prepares the emergence of a succession of secondary flavors: licorice, vanilla, tar reveals stylish. All wrapped in a gentle fruitiness, making a wine that remains true and never disappoints.
