84 points PROSECCO EXTRA DRY
Tart and crisp, more austere than many Proseccos, with hints of anise providing interest. Light and refreshing. (J.C.) - WE Buying Guide

Superb (90-95), Highly Recommended DISTILLATO D'UVA Immature Brand
Fresh grapy aroma is ripe, viny and just a touch sweet; time in the glass reveals a slightly astringent, pear-like quality that reminds me of Prosecco. Palate entry displays more grapy, peary, spicy ripeness than the bouquet; at midpalate, the astringency noted in the bouquet returns in the form of pomace, grape skins, pulp and light honey. Turns citrusy in the finish. Luscious. (P.P.) - WE Buying Guide

WINE & DINE Magazine, July 2003 - Singapore

Wine of the month CHARDONNAY DOC Lison-Pramaggiore 2001
This Italian Chardonnay is light yellow with white fruits and bubblegum on the nose. Of a dry nature, would pair beautiful with fish and cream-sauced pastas.

Wine of the month PINOT GRIGIO DOC Piave 2001
Straw yellow with mint-green and capsicum on the nose. An approachable wine that would complement most cuisine suitably.

Wine of the month RABOSO DOC Piave 1997
An intense ruby red appearance with complex nose of oak, blueberry and soy. Fine tannins with a mid-dry finish.

14 ½ /20, Good RABOSO FRIZZANTE Igt Veneto Orientale
Deep ruby black centre with watery rim; not much fizz in evidence. Raspberries and brambleberries on the nose, with some soy sauce and leather nuances. Ripe fruity palate with good acidic lift at the end.

13 ½ /20, Good MOLETTO BRUT MILLESIMATO 2000
Bright pale yellow green with irregular mousse. Slight yeasty nose of biscuits and citrus, with a flinty edge. Medium bodied, with grapefruit acidity and fairly good length.

Recommended, Wine of the month SAUVIGNON IGT Veneto Orientale 2002
Sauvignon blanc may not be a grape variety commonly planted in Veneto, Italy, but this wine shows promise. With guava and lime notes on the nose, this wine does have the characteristics of a typical sauvignon blanc. With a nice balance of acidity that makes for easy-drinking as well as mid-weight on the palate, this wine is meant to be drunk young. An ideal aperitif or with appetizers.

GUIDA DEI VINI ITALIANI 2003 - Luca Maroni

Conclusive Comment: It confirms of good pleasantness the glass Moletto. Outperformed the reds, with the Cabernet Franc Lison Pramaggiore 2000 from the well expressed red fruit. It is also clear the aroma of fruit brought by the white Tocai Italico 2001 and Prosecco Extra Dry. It can can still be improved, developing the softness of taste of the whites, the pulp of the red.
